At TCIS, we work to promote a culture of reading.  We do this by creating welcoming environments in our Learning Commons spaces, by encouraging reading for pleasure, by supporting students' reading needs, and by making reading fun.

We provide additional enrichment activities to help students reach this goal, such as:

*Fall Family Literacy Nights: Reading Under the Stars (K-8)
            *Reading Week-Dr. Seuss themed (K-5)
            *Spring Family Literacy Night (K-5)
            *Author Visits (K-12)
            *Morning Calm Book Awards (K-12)
            *March Book Madness (6-8)
            *Battle of the Books (4-5)
