Reading Week

Each spring, TCIS Elementary hosts a Reading Week.  This week surrounds a celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday.  Students do various Seuss-themed activities that promote literacy.  These vary from year to year, but some fun components of past Reading Weeks have included wearing a teeshirt with a Dr. Seuss quote, a Seuss poetry contest, a Seuss drawing contest, a classroom door decorating contest, reading a variety of Dr. Seuss books, and a spirit week.  Our Reading Week is full of fun and learning!
