October- Two Sentence Horror Stories
Here are the stories our students wrote:

- Pumpkin was at his friend's house, waiting for dinner drinking red beverages. Up front the feast began with a body lying dead surrounded by blood on the table in glasses just like his.
- Everything is always the same: DARK. Another room, go into it, look around, dark, the same!
- On the boy’s window was the number 10. Every day, at 12 o’ clock, the writing on the wall went down one by one until it reached 0.
- The ref consulted the VAR.The crowd went silent: it was a penalty.
- One day, I came home, and I called hello to my mom who was in the kitchen, which I knew because I heard her chopping something. I looked out the window in my bedroom and I saw my mom walking toward my house.
- I had a friend who came to me in my room only at night - we would play together in the dark, laugh in the silence, run with quick footsteps around the house- but eventually I would hide from her, as my friend started frightening me. She said I would regret it, but I didn't believe her until one the day I heard a scream and awoke to an acrid stench of my mom outstretched on the kitchen floor.
- With confidence that I had completed all my assignments, I slept deeply. The next morning I woke up, I saw a section in Schoology saying a missing assignment - "Biology DP SL Y1 Lab Report - Osmosis" - it was worth 20% of my semester grade.
- Wait. It's due TODAY?!
- I entered the elevator on the 13th floor going up, but it only went down, deeper into the building's basement, with each passing floor number. The doors finally opened to a pitch-black, unknown floor, and I felt a cold breath on my neck.
- As the children completed the jigsaw puzzle, the picture taking form in front of them began to look familiar. It was them, as they were, in that very moment, with one difference- the look on their faces was one of anguish and horror.
